Amérie Münsterländer Aperitif: Refreshing, fruity, and cross-media

The Münsterländer Aperitif “Amérie” is a specialty liqueur from SASSE Feinbrennerei, made from regional, untreated ingredients like fresh raspberries, handpicked wild strawberries, and organic grains. It proudly carries the “Münsterland” seal, indicating its high-quality, regional origin.

In late May 2021, to coincide with the start of summer and the season for “Amérie,” Lagerkorn GmbH launched a two-month cross-media campaign. To achieve maximum impact, we crafted a media package for the client encompassing four different media types.

An overview of our collaboration

  • We implemented an attention-grabbing media mix, including outdoor advertising, ambient marketing, online audio, and Addressable TV. Online audio and Addressable TV were executed in two simultaneous flights.
  • The first flight at the end of May 2021 introduced the target audience to the summer season and the “Amérie” Münsterländer Aperitif, followed by a second flight in July 2021.
  • Colorful posters were displayed around Münster throughout the campaign, and Bike Caps were distributed in two waves, at the end of June and July 2021.

The fruity and fresh Out of Home visuals were prominently displayed throughout Münsterland and Münster, using large formats, full columns, and City Light posters. The goal of the OOH campaign was to evoke a sense of summer and entice people to try the refreshing “Amérie” Aperitif. In the same target area, we maximized attention by distributing raspberry-colored Bike Caps on bicycles.

Online Audio

The first flight of the online audio spot ran on Spotify for one month starting at the end of May 2021, targeting women over 18 years old in the Münsterland region. The second flight was deployed in July 2021.

TV

At the same time and with the same targeting criteria, the two flights of the Addressable TV spot were broadcast. To ensure high advertising effectiveness, we used a SwitchIn XXL banner as the ad format during the ongoing program.
