Since 2020, we’ve been creating annual holiday campaigns for Festina, always with a clear goal: to boost brand awareness and showcase their collections in the best possible light.

  • Our partnership started with a regional out-of-home campaign. Festina strategically placed large-format billboards around retail stores.
  • We broadened the media strategy in 2021 with a cross-media campaign that included display advertising, video-on-demand (VoD)/connected TV, and addressable TV.
  • We introduced digital out-of-home (DOOH) placements in 2023, featuring dynamic video spots on screens in high-traffic locations such as shopping malls, cinemas, and fitness centers.
  • In 2024 Connected TV became a key component of the campaign strategy. Spots were broadcast on platforms like Netflix, Joyn, DAZN, and Amazon Prime Video in Germany and Austria.
  • Alongside the CTV main campaign, we support retail shops with tailored Google Display Ads and YouTube Shorts Ads, customized for individual store locations.

Out of Home

Our collaboration began in 2020 with a regional out-of-home campaign. Festina strategically placed large-format billboards around retail stores. The creative, featuring brand ambassador Gerard Butler, was customized for each store, including its specific address.

Online

In 2021, we expanded the media strategy and launched a cross-media campaign that included display advertising, video-on-demand (VoD)/connected TV, and addressable TV. In addition to Content Engagement Ads (CEA) on the websites of the highest-reach publishers in Germany and Austria, Festina’s collections were also featured in pre-roll and mid-roll spots on the websites, media libraries, and apps of major TV networks such as ProSiebenSat.1 and RTL.

For addressable TV, various creatives were displayed using SwitchIn-XXL banners, which appeared in editorial environments immediately after a channel change.

Connected TV

Connected TV established itself as a key component of the campaign strategy. In 2024, the spots were broadcast on platforms such as Netflix, Joyn, DAZN, and Amazon Prime Video in Germany and Austria. On Amazon Prime Video, we used in-market targeting to specifically reach Amazon users who had already shown interest in men’s or women’s wristwatches. The campaign features three different collections, with a dedicated spot for each. Depending on the streaming platform, 10- or 20-second versions of these spots were aired.
